When District Five cards arrive in thousands of mailboxes this holiday season, a Beech Springs Intermediate School student's work will be showcased on the front!
Congratulations to Andrew Fisher, a 6th grade student at Beech Springs, who has been selected as the 2023 winner of the District Five holiday card artwork competition! Fisher's classic "red truck" themed card was selected by a district judging panel from dozens of outstanding entries representing each of District Five's elementary and intermediate schools.
Fisher, who says he loves to draw and enjoys art, was honored by Superintendent Dr. Randall Gary and School Board Chairman, Jeff Boland, at the board's November board meeting. In addition to a certificate honoring his recognition, Andrew received 50 copies of his card to share with family and friends this holiday season.
